Parent FAQs

Do(es) my swimmer(s) need to attend all practices? No. Coaches do not take attendance at swim practices and you can attend as many as you wish. The more they attend, however, the better their swimming will be!

Do I need to RSVP to Swim Meets? Swim meets are "regrets only" -- see details in the "Must Dos" above.

How much will my swimmer participate in each meet? Each swimmer is allowed to swim up to 3 individual events and up to 2 relays. They may swim less if their swim ability and confidence is still strengthening. Swimmers just developing their strokes will just start with freestyle and backstroke. Under 6 swimmers do only freestyle.

Do I have to volunteer? YES. Our swim season is impossible without parent volunteers. See volunteer information in the "must dos" above. Please note that ANY person can fulfill your swim volunteer needs (older children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) It does not have to be a parent!
